TAJ MAHAL MASTER PLAN AND BLACK TAJ

RPD Studio proposed a redesigned Master Plan for “TAJ Mahal” as a participant in an international competition. The concept revolves around reemphasizing the original intended place for a complete view of the Taj Mahal from across the river. Featuring sitting areas, hallways adorned with artwork and an underwater exhibition of sculptures, an underwater tunnel leads the public across the river, where the viewers get a complete view of the Taj Mahal that is confined in one massive rectangular frame.
